At this state, Yokoka is a very naive and innocent young girl. She's been imprisoned her whole childhood in Yamu's forest, so she doesn't know much about the outside world. She's seen her father die in a fire at a very young age and the trauma has left her memory fuzzy. She thinks she's always belonged to the forest, when in fact she's been kidnapped. She has a deep respect for Yoru and tries to follow him once he leaves the forest, but she's so bewildered by what she sees outside that she loses sight of her goal and ends up travelling for fun. Her birthday is February 18th.


Yokoka is one of my oldest and most developped characters. Yokoka's Quest is actually a finished novel, with 53 chapters, but since I was pretty young when I wrote it, it's hard to keep up with it. I took a year to finish it, with months of gap between chapters at times, while I'd write 5 chapters a day sometimes. This story is very dear to me, as it helped me get better in written french and grow up. She was my weak side, my fears and my ignorance. She was the first character, her story was the first of many, so you could say she is the one who started this whole project. She was my first username online, written 'yokoka'. The name doesn't mean anything; I had a certain t-shirt back then and when my mother folded it once it was clean, it could be read 'yo/koka' and I thought it sounded like a nice name. Her last name means 'star' in japanese.
